Residence Inn Anaheim Maingate
Not only was the room clean, roomy and comfortable, the free breakfast was huge and delicious! The whole hotel experience was like a home away from home and they even went shopping on request and stocked our kitchen while we played on the beach. Price was great too.
I asked for a massage therapist to be called in and they brought in April Wood who gave me the best massage I have ever had. She came to my room and was so professional, friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend her to anyone traveling in the area as she will come to your hotel, is reasonably priced, educated in her field, and highly skilled.

Hyatt Regency Orange County
Anaheim is a strange place – nothing but hotels, fast food outlets and Disneyland. I was there for a convention and was booked by my company into the Hyatt. Good things – the room was VAST. Absolutely huge. Clean and lovely with nice, quiet aircon and a balcony (which I wasn’t allowed onto – windows locked to ensure the guest’s “safety” – shame – sort of takes away the point of having a balcony at all!).
The staff were very efficient and helpful – especially the Concierge service (Angela in particular). If you are ever in the Hyatt ask them to book you a massage – I’ve been massaged in countries all over the world and was astonished by the one I received from April. Absolutely the best I’ve ever experienced!

CHAIR MASSAGE: it’s not just good for ME, a “visitor”, it keeps folks hanging around your booth…. the vendor’s staff had time to really lay it on me (their sales pitch), whilst I waited my turn for a complimentary massage. Having attended many conventions everywhere, & specifically now in Anaheim, at both large hotel conference rooms & the city’s huge Convention Center, I am so much more pleased to find those that support free chair massage in the exhibitor booths or hosted by the venue center: after all, I am on my feet all day, & being mentally exhausted by all the demands of my need to attend the shows & gather vital research for my firm. A local massage team, founded by therapist, April Wood of aprildadvice.com (aka Keep In Touch), is my recommendation, as I loved their unique extra services, never seen at similar settings elsewhere … then, you also know who is skilled enough to book a session with in your own room, or to give as a gift to a client or your top salesperson… YOUR business should check into this, if you plan a booth or meeting project in Anaheim, near Disneyland, or all of southern California, I hear. I can also say, the lines were long, and it would benefit a vendor to hire more than one therapist for their booth! Angela, there at the Hyatt, was a tremendous help to me also, and I found that Hotel more peaceful than the one’s in the Convention center loop, up the street… bon voyage!
